Pankaj Bhujbal, son of NCP leader and former deputy chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal, lost from Mazgaon in Mumbai.

Mazgaon was once a safe seat for Chhagan Bhujbal. But the Sena's Bala Nandgaonkar defeated him in 1995 after he defected to the Congress.

Pankaj can take solace from the fact that his father won from Yeola constituency in Nashik district.
