Addressing a gathering in Satali, Bhujbal promises to build a canal to supply water to various parts of Yeola. "I will work for the development of this region but you must keep your end of the promise by voting for me in overwhelming numbers," he urges.
He repeats almost the same promises in Chandgaon, Wisapur, Gujarkhede and Balapur.
But 27-year-old Motiram Sandil in Chichondi village is unimpressed. "We heard the same promises last time too. We will see what happens this time. But I am not too optimistic," he whispers.
Bhujbal's main opponents are Jayavantrao Patil (Shiv Sena) and an independent Shivajirao Mankar
