Spin wizard Rashid Khan is their top retention at Rs 18 crore ahead of captain Shubman Gill, who stayed back for Rs 16.50 crore.

Young batter Sai Sudharsan was retained for Rs 8.5 crore, while uncapped duo of Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan got Rs 4 crore each.

Punjab Kings have retained two uncapped players as they aim to rebuild their team at the auction under new head coach Ricky Ponting.

Shashank Singh is their top retention at Rs 5.5 crore, while Prabhsimran Singh got Rs 4 crore.

They have the largest purse at the auction at Rs 110.5 crore.

Some of their top players who were released include Arshdeep Singh, Liam Livingstone and Sam Curran.
