India 195-5 (43 ovs) vs NZ 235 | Scorecard

With the Spidercam getting stuck, the umpires have called an early lunch with five minutes left for the break.

India are 195/5 in 43 overs at the lunch break on Day 2, trailing the Kiwis by 40 runs.

Gill has shouldered the responsibility with a mature knock of 70 not out. His 96-run partnership with Pant, who stroked a magnificent 60 from 59 balls, was instrumental in India's superb fightback.

Jadeja, promoted ahead of Sarfaraz Khan, is unbeaten on 10 as India look on course for a sizeable lead.

Ajaz took 2/76 in 13 overs as Pant went after him. Ish Sodhi provided New Zealand some relief as he bagged the key wicket of Pant to halt India's charge.

Overall, India scored 109 runs in 24 overs for the loss of one wicket in the morning session.

New Zealand also contributed to their own misery as they dropped a couple of easy catches.
