After guiding Sevilla to two successive UEFA Cup triumphs, Juande Ramos took charge at Tottenham Hotspurs after a faltering Martin Jol was sacked.
After taking Spurs out of relegation zone and a subsequent triumph in the League Cup, their first domestic title in 17 years, Ramos was made to see his two main strikers, Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane, snapped up by Manchester United and Liverpool respectively.
