There is no dilemma even when India and Sri Lanka play against each other.
As per our culture, we support our family first, right? So, naturally, I support my son-in-law. I want him to play well. That is how all Indian women are brought up; support one's family first. I would say he is not only my son-in-law, he is India's son-in-law too. An Indian girl is married to him.

Though my daughter and Murali stay in Colombo, they go to Kandy, where his parents are, whenever they have free time. His is a very close-knit family.
Whenever I was there I saw that Murali and his brothers were watching cricket wherever it was being played all the time. Not only Sri Lanka matches, they watch all the cricket matches that are being played around the world. When I went there, I saw them watching the India-Pakistan match!
The whole family is fully into cricket, including my grandson Naren who is two. He watches cricket and walks around with a cricket bat. One cricketer he knows is Dhoni. He doesn't know any other player. He would hit the ball and shout, 'Dhoni, six! Dhoni, six!'
