Dhoni: Poster boy of Indian cricket

Dhoni rose to fame after the men in blue won the ICC Twenty20 World Cup last year, under his captaincy. However, he soon came under the scanner for keeping the big daddies of Indian cricket -- Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly -- out of the ODI squad from the ongoing tri-series in Australia.

But his recent performances with the bat have been quite commendable. Dhoni scored an unbeaten half-century to lead India to a close two-wicket victory against Sri Lanka and help his team inch closer to a spot in the tri-series final.
