Shaun Pollock raises his bat after completing his hundred.
It was a one-man show for the Africans with Pollock the only man ready to battle it out amidst the festival atmostphere of the match.
Pollock gave his team a glimmer of hope with a brilliant knock of 130 from 110 balls. The former South African captain was in an attacking mood, slamming 19 fours and a six even as wickets kept failling at the other end.
He was well-supported by Elton Chigumbura (40) and Thomas Odoyo (39) but the innings folded out at 283 in 47.5 overs.
