The Sultans of Multan

Complete coverage | Match report | Scorecard

Virender Sehwag opened India's quest for a maiden Test win in Pakistan in style. Several records were shattered as the master blaster became the first Indian to score a Test triple century.

India amassed a huge 675 for 5 declared, with Sehwag scoring 309 of those runs in just 375 balls with 39 boundaries and 6 sixes.

Quite naturally, he was named Man of the Match.
