The Sultans of Multan

Complete coverage | Match report | Scorecard

Leg-spinner Anil Kumble proved to be a key factor in India's first Test win on Pakistani soil.

Kumble picked up eight wickets in the match, with six of them (6-72) coming in the second innings, when, except for Yousuf Youhana (112), none of the batsmen could get the better of the veteran.

A day after the Test ended, Kumble had more glad tidings in the form of a baby boy.
