Raveena Tandon wins the National Award
Raveena Tandon is the latest winner of the National Award for her role in Daman. Both the movie and Raveena's role have been hailed.

The award also saw a slight controversy with some in the film establishment challenging the impartiality of the jury and questioning the credibility of the winners, particularly Raveena.

Raveena spoke to rediff.com  about the award and the criticism hurled at her.

Kalpana Lajmi, who directed Daman, also spoke to rediff.com.
