On her 37th birthday, badminton star Jwala Gutta got engaged to Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal.
The couple has been dating for a while now.
Vishal tweeted about the engagement: 'Happy birthday. New start to LIFE. Let's be positive and work towards a better future for us, Aryan, our families, friends and people around.'
Vishal, a sometime cricketer, asked fans to send love and blessings: 'Need all your love n blessings guys..#newbeginnings'.
'My lovelies,' Jwala wrote, 'always loving me so much...How lucky am I to have them in my life!'
The 2010 Commonwealth Games champion was earlier married to fellow shuttler Chetan Anand before they parted ways in 2011. Vishal's marriage to Rajini Natraj ended in 2018. Aryan is their son.
