Navigate through Jwala Gutta's Instagram feed and you'll see lots of pictures of the badminton star, her parents Yelan and Krishna -- you can read about their fascinating love story here and here (external links) -- and younger sister Insi.

And then there are pictures of her with this good-looking bloke -- dashing Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal.

Vishnu, who played some cricket before an injury put paid to his cricket career, and Jwala have been inseparable since after his divorce from Rajini Natraj, South Indian actor K Natraj's daughter.

The couple -- who fell in love in college -- have a son, born in 2017, before their seven-year marriage ended in 2018.

Jwala's six-year marriage to badminton player Chetan Anand ended in June 2011. There was gossip that she was seeing fellow Hyderabadi Mohammad Azharuddin, which both baddie ace and cricket legend denied vigorously.

Jwala and Vishnu

Jwala and Vishnu has been dating for some months now.

From Valentine's Day posts to just the two of them hanging around, Jwala's Instagram feed has pix of the couple in plenty, looking very much in love.

When Jwala's badminton academy opened in December, Vishal posted an Instavideo, vouching for its world-class infrastructure, urging young players to register.

The pandemic-induced lockdown separated the lovebirds with Jwala moaning about how much she misses her 'main man'.

'Missing those days when we played dress up!!' she posted alongside a pic of them.

Vishnu Vishal and Jwala Gutta on his birthday

On Friday, July 17, Jwala decided she's had enough of the lockdown and surprised Vishnu on his 36th birthday.

'Happiest birthday baby. Keep shining,' Jwala posted. Here's hoping this match goes the distance.
