England coach Fabio Capello added uncapped Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill to his squad after captain John Terry and Wes Brown missed training on Wednesday with minor injuries.
A statement on the Football Association (FA) website (www.thefa.com) said both centre-backs, Terry and Brown, are expected to recover ahead of the friendly against Slovenia on Saturday and the 2010 World Cup qualifier against Croatia on September 9.
It is a second squad appearance for Cahill, 23, following his call-up in June when England beat Kazakhstan and Andorra in World Cup qualifiers.
