Indian and Pakistan authorities are scheduled to hold a flag meeting on Wednesday afternoon in the wake of repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan on the international border.

Senior officers of the Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers will meet in the Pargwal sector of Jammu district in the afternoon, following a request from Pakistan side for the flag meeting scheduled for 4 pm.

However, according to sources Pakistan Rangers have not sent any agenda for the meeting. They said that the flag meet may be related to some local issues.

Sources said that the Pargwal area has not been affected by the ceasefire violations by Pakistan. The Directors General Military Operations of the two countries had telephonic talks yesterday during which a protest was lodged against the continued ceasefire violations by Pakistan on the international border and the Line of Control in the Jammu region.
