Veteran designer Neeta Lulla's daughter Nishka has made a name for herself in fashion with her unique and youthful designs that are quite popular with Bollywood's young brigade.

So it was hardly a surprise when several filmi folks turned up at the young designer's pre-wedding brunch at Hakkasan, the upscale Cantonese restaurant in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb, over the weekend.

According to the website dedicated to the upcoming wedding, Nishka is all set to tie the knot with beau Dhruv Mehra on June 12 in a resort in Bangkok.

After her fabulous turn in Cannes, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a public appearance back home at the Lulla brunch over the weekend.

A far cry from the fashionable excesses of the French Film Fest red carpet, Ash was dressed in a tame floral top, black denims and peep-toe strappies as she was escorted to the do by Lulla.

Ash and Neeta Lulla go way back -- the designer was Ash's stylist for her 2003 appearance at Cannes.

Amitabh Bachchan, who's been getting rave reviews for his turn in Piku, greets Lulla.
