So what is Soggade Chinna Nayana really all about?

After the super successful Manam, Nagarjuna has begun working on two films, Soggade Chinna Nayana and Oopiri (a Telugu remake of The Intouchables).

Soggade Chinna Nayana is directed by newcomer Kalyan Krishna, and jointly produced by Nag (under Annapoorna Studios) and Rammohan P (who had earlier produced films like Ashta Chamma, Golconda High School and Uyyala Jumpala).

Rammohan has also written the screenplay for Soggade Chinna Nayana.

The film has been named after a song from his father, the late ANR’s, hit film Dasara Bullodu.

Nagarjuna plays a dual role, Bangara Raju and his grandson.

Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi play the leading women.

Hamsa Nandini and television anchor Anasuya are also a part of the cast along with Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore and Sampath Raj.

Nagarjuna continues with his Manam music director Anup Reubens and the cinematographer PS Vinod.

The film is likely to release in December.
