Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to show us another wedding movie in Shaandaar, coming up for release on October 22.
Wedding Pullav, starring Anushka Ranjan and Digaanth, also revolves around a destination wedding.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns
Box office collection: Rs 152 crore
R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut's Tanu Weds Manu Returns is the only film in this genre to enter the Rs 100 crore club.
Five years after Tanu and Manu got married, the couple face marital woes but get back together again.
Hum Aapke Hain... Koun!
Box office collection: Rs 60 crore
Arguably, the biggest shaadi film ever, Hum Aapke Hain... Koun! is an all-time blockbuster.
No other film has come close to its success.
The film made Rs 60 crore as good way back in 1994 when it released, a time when even Rs 10 crore was considered as a huge number.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan
Box office collection: Rs 57 crore
What happens when a youngster falls in love with his brother's bride-to-be?
This could have been an intense drama but in the world of producer Aditya Chopra and director Ali Abbas Zafar, it turned out to be a musical romcom.
Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar were fun on screen and audiences gave them a nod of approval.
Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge
Box office collection: Rs 56 crore
Like Hum Aapke Hain... Koun!, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge also has stood the test of time. And like HAHK, DDLJ also enjoys an all-time blockbuster status.
In fact, the film enjoyed a run at Mumbai's Maratha Mandir for 1009 weeks -- a record 20 years since it released in 1995.
Tanu Weds Manu
Box office collection: Rs 40 crore
When Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) met Manu (R Madhavan) for the first time, it was the latter who fell in love at first sight.
Eventually, the couple got married and headed for a happily-ever-after.
Until, of course, director Aanand L Rai made the sequel.
Vivah
Box office collection: Rs 32 crore
Sooraj Barjatya was making a film without Salman Khan for the first time, and audiences didn't care as much for Vivah.
But the film, starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao, found a lot of favour among people, especially those living in the interiors of India.
It became a major success.
Band Baaja Baaraat
Box office collection: Rs 23 crore
Like Vivah, Band Baaja Baaraat had a slow start as well.
New hero Ranveer Singh was introduced and though Anushka Sharma had Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi behind her, audiences took a day to warm up to the film.
With a wedding background to it -- Ranveer and Anushka played wedding planners -- the film was a delightful affair. An entertainer all the way.
Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai
Box office collection: Rs 8 crore
More than a decade ago, Yash Raj Films was inspired by Hollywood romcom My Best Friend's Wedding and remade Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai with Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill, Tulip Joshi and Bipasha Basu.
It was a light entertainer and turned out to be a surprise success at the box office.
Shamita Shetty's chartbuster item number Sharaara is still popular.
Monsoon Wedding
Box office collection: Rs 3.6 crore
Though not quite a Bollywood film due to its international producers, Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding was set in India and remains one of the most authentic wedding films made till date.
The film was a slow starter at the box office since it was released at the time when multiplexes were at their infancy. But it turned out to be a surprise hit.
