Meet the Power Couples!

Bollywood's power couple Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan are going to introduce you to the other power couples in showbiz, and let YOU be a part of their daily life!

Of course, it's all on telly.

Reality show Power Couple will kick off from December 12 on Sony Entertainment Television, and is an adaption of an Israeli show.

Shot in Goa, the show's basic idea is to put celebrity couples through multiple tests to prove how powerful their love is, while living together under one roof.

The couples have been announced, and Vindoo Dara Singh and his wife Dina Umaraova have already come on as a wild card entry.

According to reports, Delnaaz and DJ Percy is the first couple to be eliminated from the show.

We take a look at the Power Couples:

Sandip Soparkar and Jesse Randhawa

Sandeep is a ballroom dancer and choreographer while Jesse is a model, and his willing dance partner. They have been together for 10 years and been married for five. 

The couple have a son.

Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh

Television's most loved couple, Aamir and Sanjeeda will be seen together on-screen after a long time - we last saw them win Nach Baliye 3 in 2007.
Aamir and Sanjeeda have been married for three years.

Ashmit Patel and Mehak Chahal

Ashmit was famously linked with Veena Mallik during their stint on Bigg Boss 4.

Mahek Chahal, meanwhile, was a contestant on Bigg Boss 5. Her then boyfriend Danish Khan proposed to her on national television during the grand finale, and she accepted. But the relationship went kaput later.

Ashmit and Mehak have been dating for three months; let's see how well they will fare on the show.

 

Shawar Ali and Marsela Ayesha

Model Shawar Ali fell in love with ballet dancer/ opera singer and model Marsela Ayesha on a show, and got into a live-in relationship with her for two years.

They got married earlier this year.

 

Apurva Agnihotri and Shilpa Saklani

Apurva and Shilpa were last seen together in Bigg Boss 7, and are set to explore their relationship on national TV once again.
They have been married for 11 years.

Rahul Raj and Pratysuha Banerjee

TV's favourite bahu Pratyusha Banerjee and her boyfriend Rahul Raj have been dating for three months. This is the first time they will go public with their relationship.


Mugdha Godse and Rahul Dev

Actress Mugdha Godse has been dating actor Rahul Dev for some time now, and recently admitted to it.

Mugdha had lent him a lot of support when he lost his wife of 11 years to cancer.

They found love in each other, and she stood by him like a pillar of strength.


DJ Percy and Delnaaz

DJ Percy and actress Delnaaz have been together for two and a half years.

She was previously married to actor Rajeev Paul, and even the couple even appeared on Bigg Boss 6 together, though they were separated at the time.

Though Percy is younger to her, they believe love has given them a second chance.


Naved Jaffery and Sayeeda

A successful reality show judge and producer, Naved and his NRI banker wife Sayeeda have been married for three years.

Salil Ankola and Ria Banerjee

Cricketer-turned-actor Salil Ankola returns to television after two years. He will participate in Power Couple with his second wife, Ria Banerjee.
