The 21st edition of the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) starts from October 17 but the fun started way before that!

Bollywood's top stars attended the fourth edition of the Movie Mela on Sunday, and looked pretty on the red carpet.

Alia Bhatt attended The Big Talk hosted by Karan Johar at the Mela.

Kareena Kapoor was the other guest on the show.

When KJo asked Alia on the show, if she had ever imagined that she would be Kareena's sister-in-law someday, Alia replied, 'I'll be the happiest girl in the world!'

Then she added that she's not really thought about it.

Kareena and Alia, incidentally, will be working together in KJo's next biggie, Takht.

'Alia is one of the most spectacular actors on screen,' Kareena said.

Janhvi Kapoor attended another segment of the Movie Mela.

Giving her company was Ananya Panday.

Janhvi was quite candid on the show, and revealed that she recently auditioned for a part, and was still waiting from the makers to hear if she got the role or not.

On yet another segment, Deepika Padukone discussed her career's best roles.

Dips will be seen next in Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Mrunal Thakur shared the stage with Janhvi and Ananya.

Avinash Tiwary will be Mrunal's co-star in Karan Johar's segment in Ghost Stories.

Radhika Madan joined the young actors as well.

Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma is working on his next film, Maidaan, with Ajay Devgn.

After AndhaDhun, Sriram Raghavan is working on his next thriller with Varun Dhawan.

Konkona Sensharma.

Stree director Amar Kaushik.

Anupama Chopra and Rajeev Masand moderated most of the chat shows at the Movie Mela.
