Jayasurya to play a blind cricketer in his next film

Jayasurya who is riding high after successive hits, Philips & The Monkey Pen and Punyalan Agarbathis, will be seen playing plays a visually challenged cricketer in director Boban Samuel next untitled film.
“Jayasurya’s character is Aaron and he hails from Fort Kochi. He lost his eyesight when he was a kid. He faced the situation with a positive mindset and has been trying to get into the cricket team for the visually challenged,” says Boban Samuel, who earlier directed films like Janapriyan and Romans.<
Lal plays an important role as a cricket coach. Aparna Gopinath, who acted in
ABCD and
Bicycle Thieves, is the heroine.
The shooting of the film, produced by Aashiq Usman under the banner of Milestone Cinemas, is going on at Kochi, Gundalpet and Bengaluru.
