The film was remade in Hindi as Taqdeerwala and in Tamil as Luckyman.
Now, Reddy is making Yamaleela 2, and introducing yet another newcomer, Dr K V Satish.
Yamaleela 2 is said to be a fantasy drama, and not exactly a sequel to the first.
The film stars Diah Nicholas, Mohan Babu and Brahmanandam. It has been produced by Dr K V Satish and K V Atchi Reddy.
Sada and Nisha Kothari will make special appearances.
Kota Srinivasa Rao, M S Narayana, Ali, Uttej, Rao Ramesh Sayaji Shinde and Thagabothu Ramesh are also part of the cast.
Besides being producer and director, S V Krishna Reddy has also composed the music.
Yamaleela 2 will release on November 28.
