Writer-director Ranjith has teamed up with Prithviraj in Indian Rupee, the shooting of which is going on at Kozhikode, Kerala.

It was Ranjith who introduced Prithviraj to the world of films with Nandanam, several years ago.

Rima Kallingal plays the heroine; others in the cast are Thilakan, Lalu Alex, Swetha Menon, and Mallika (who shot to fame with the Tamil movie Autograph)
and Tini Tom.

Prithviraj, Santosh Sivan and Shaji Natesan are producing the movie under their banner, August Cinemas. Their maiden venture was Urumi.

Prithviraj plays Jayaprakash, a small-time real estate broker, while Rima Kallingal is a doctor working in the government service.

S Kumar is the cinematographer and the music director is Shahbaz Aman.

Ranjith's previous film, Pranchiyettan & the Saint was a big success and much appreciated for its superb script and Mammootty's performance as a businessman.
