Video: Renault launches new sedan, the Scala, in India

Fresh from the launch of its new SUV, Duster, in India, French auto maker Renault launched its C-segment sedan, Scala, at the ITC Maurya, New Delhi, on September 7, 2012.

The Renault Scala boasts a 1.5 litre petrol engine with 98 bhp and a 1.5 litre K9k turbo diesel engine that will put out 85 bhp of sheer automotive power.  Currently hitting the market with the five-speed manual gearboxes, the Scala is expected to go automatic in 2013.

The Renault Scala will take on popular sedans like Honda City, VW Vento, Ford Fiesta and the new Hyundai Verna.
