The effervescent Kalki Koechlin closed the show for Nishka Lulla.

There are showstoppers and there are showstoppers. Kalki Koechlin, as you can see here, was the latter :-)

The Bollywood star walked the runway for designer Nishka Lulla on Day Four of Lakme Fashion Week.

And, quite literally, lit up the runway with her presence.

Kalki was, of course, walking for Nishka Lulla at Lakme Fashion Week.

The young designer presented her summer line that was feminine and edgy at the same time.

Granny Panties that have been all the rage for some years now, continued to make their presence felt on the runway this season too.

As did bralets.

But it wasn't all plain boring white. Nishka added a dash of colour to her line. A blue here...

A red there.

And a dash of pink in outfits such as this one.

Nigerian model Ugochi Latoya Igwilo looked a million bucks in these palazzo pants.

And we were kinda sorta digging this perfect-for-the-summer design too.

Nishka, who we've seen over the years blossom into a beautiful young lady also took to the ramp at the end of the show.

And took a well-deserved bow as her showstopper looked on! :-)
