We'd asked you, dear readers to share your love stories with us.
Amul Tamboli tells us how he fell in love with Swapna.
The year was 2008. I was working at a private bank as a manager.
I was stepping out on a business visit when I met Swapna near my bank. She was collecting money for charity.
She approached me to donate Rs 100 for a social cause.
I liked her simplicity and approach, so I donated Rs 500. She did not appreciate the extra amount and came back to my office to return Rs 400.
I thanked her but her honesty attracted me.
I could not forget her smile and voice. It disturbed me.
The following week my family and I were supposed to meet a prospective girl for marriage in the same town.
I was a bit tensed. To my surprise the girl my parents had chosen was the same whom I had been dreaming about for all those days -- Swapna.
I was so happy that when we were allowed to talk in private, I told her, 'I never believed in God but today I got the most precious gift from him that I was asking him for.'
Since I had a well settled career, she did not have any objection to marry me.
We got married on December 20, 2008.
We've completed seven years together and are both happy. We have a 5-year-old daughter.
Thank you God for fulfilling my dream so quickly.
