We'd asked you, dear readers to share your love stories with us.
Here, Laxmikanta Nayak from Orissa shares his story. You can share yours too!
Our story dates back to 10 years when I was in college.
We were from different streams but took tuition in the same building.
Our timings were different too.
One day I was rushing for my tuition when I noticed a simple, innocent looking girl walking like a turtle.
I noticed her curiously and my heart grew weak. My eyes would search for her in the tuition but never asked anyone what her name was.
A year and half later, I saw her walking with a female classmate and she looked tense.
I got her address from this classmate.
It was almost the last session of the year and I had not got a chance to talk to her.
A few days later, during our college annual function, her friends asked me to come to the college common room alone to meet her.
We'd barely spoken, when a senior lecturer scolded us for being together in the room.
After that we became friends and started talking to each other.
I never shared my feelings because I had never done it before. It took me three months to tell her how I felt.
We dated for three months.
I got a job in a private sector firm which further strengthened our relationship.
After three years of courtship and challenges, we got married in 2011. We have a three-year-old princess named Piyalli.
