What: Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha invites applications for admission to the following courses in the University
(a) MA (Dramatics & Film Studies) (2 yrs)
Eligibility: Graduation with 50 per cent marks in any discipline from a recognised university / institution (For SC/ST candidates 45per cent). Candidates holding Diploma from the Dramatics or Film institutes of national importance life - National School of Bhartendu Natya Academy will be given preference.
(2) MA (Anthropology) (2 yrs)
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree with 50 per cent marks (For SC/ST candidates 45 per cent) in Social / Humanities or in any other subjects with 55 per cent marks (For SC/ST candidates 50 per cent) from any recognised university / institution.
(3) MPhil (Anthropology) (1 yr)
Eligibility: Master's Degree in Anthropology or any allied subjects (Allied subjects: Sociology, Social Work, Social & Preventive Medicine, History, Political Science, Economics, Archeology, Linguistics, Environmental Science and Development, Studies including Rural and Regional Development with 55 per cent marks (for SC/ST 50per cent). Preference would be given to the candidates having Master's Degree in Anthropology.
(4) PhD (Anthropology)
Eligibility: MA/MSc in Anthropology or allied subjects with 55 per cent marks (SC/ST 50 per cent marks)
Desirable: MPhil/JRF/NET / Any other national Level Test in Anthropology. Preference would be given to the candidates having MA/MSc degree in Anthropology.
Application details
For admission in the above mentioned courses the university will conduct a written test/ interactive session/ interview at main campus in Wardha on August 18-19, 2009. No TA/DA will be paid for attending written test / interactive session/ interview. Fellowship is given to selected student as per UGC rules.
The prospectus along with application form may be obtained by sending a DD of Rs 250/- (for SC/ST & PH: Rs 150/-) in favour of 'Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya' payable at Wardha on the address given below or by paying Rs 200/- (SC/ST & PH: Rs 100/-) in cash. Candidates applying for more than one course should submit separate DD for each course. The application form is also available on University Website: www.hindivishwa.org.
