Vaishali Shadangule was 18 when she ran away from home to make a career in fashion.

The young designer who has showcased her collection at Milan and New York, works with artisans from Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Her latest bridal collection 'Madanottsava' expressed the potent power of love and Panchaban, the five floral arrows of Kamadeva.

The show began with a mesmerising dance performance by artists who were dressed in traditional outfits designed by Vaishali.

Take a look!

The handloom line itself was a medley of rich and vibrant colours and textures.

The outfits were designed keeping in mind the modern bride who likes to blend tradition with style.

Each outfit was draped differently to highlight the fine embroidery detailing and zari work.

Vaishali's love for chanderi silk was evident.

The embroidery detailing on blouses were inspired from mother nature.

Here, Aishwarya Sushmita is wearing a cropped brocade blouse with a chanderi silk sari from Vaishali's bridal line.
