How to be a beach superstar
April 05, 2016

Wear it with a gown, a skirt or simply flaunt your curves in a monokini -- beachwear just got experimental! Photographs by Hitesh Harisinghani/Rediff.com

Designers Shivan and Narresh put forth a colourful beach and resort wear collection at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week.

The 'Léger Leisure' line was inspired by French painter Fernand Léger.

Let's take a look at the collection!

Move over bikinis, monokinis are the latest bet. Ashwati Ramesh sports a multi coloured one from the beachwear line.

Rikee Chatterjee shows you how to add a colourful cape to the monokini.

Ever thought of teaming a bikini with a skirt? Hemangi Parte shows you how!

Here's how you play hide and seek with a bikini.

Not a fan of colours? Rikee shows you how to steal the thunder in an all black monokini.

For those who love experimenting, this slitted creation is a delight.

Or better still, add a cape with pockets and don't forget to bring on those stilettos.

The designer duo like to play with interesting embellishments like the one modelled by Radhika Bopiah above.

One more look at the interesting line up and you'll never look at beach wear the same way again.

And it's all thanks to this duo -- Shivan and Narresh -- who know how to make beachwear fashionable.
