A few days prior to the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016, Neeta Lulla had started the social media campaign #SheIsMe.

The message was to tell women of the world that despite her flaws and limitations, she's beautiful and strong.

Needless to say, her show was a tribute to the power women who rule the modern world.

Shaina NC

Designer and politician Shaina NC was among the women achievers who took to the ramp for Lulla's collection.

Pooja Makhija

That's nutritionist Pooja Makhija in a floor length gown from the collection.

Vibha Bakshi

National award winning documentary filmmaker Vibha Bakshi also walked for the designer in a black embroidered sari.

Radha Kapoor

Founder of Indian School of Design Radha Kapoor wore a brown skirt and cape blouse.

Rouble Nagi

Artist and life coach Rouble Nagi wore a Victorian gown with floral accents.

Lulla's 'She Is Me' collection was ethereal and feminine.

The multi layered one above had sheer detailing.

Hemangi Parte

Hemangi Parte showcased a shimmering outfit with a plunging neckline.

Sucheta Sharma

Sucheta Sharma models a pastel pant and cape creation.

True to its inspiration -- the cherry blossom, each outfit had a floral story to tell.

Here's one more from the collection.

We particularly liked this skirt and off shoulder blouse.

A halter neck peplum style blouse with a belt works well too.

Neeta Lulla deserves a huge round of applause -- for putting together such a wonderful show.
