When the lockdown began, first in Mumbai, and then nationwide, it seemed like a nice time to chill.

To stay indoors... Maybe not even get out of bed. Or hang with the folks -- long famjam.

But that was just for the first few days...

The forwards began to pile up annoyingly fast.

And after scouring through every text message and advisory, you now realise that even your paanwallah has a cure for the virus.

When, stir-crazy, you step out, ignoring the hollering 'elderly' people, you have to walk multiple figure-eights, through the apocalypse-now landscape, to avoid the stray pedestrians. You don't know who or what is following you... Somebody's watching me.

 

In a country that ran out of masks and sanitisers long before COVID-19 was declared a pandemic, is social distancing an option?

Nevertheless watch out for the cops and their dandas!
