The mother of all cricketing contests will take place on Sunday, June 18, when India plays Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy final at the Oval in London.

Defending champions India enter the title clash as the favourites, but can ill afford to take the unpredictable Pakistan team lightly, especially after their resurgence in recent games including a shock win over England in the semi-final.

India may be keen to retain its semi-final winning combination for the final against Pakistan whom they defeated by 124 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis method in a rain-hit game in Birmingham on June 4.

In that game, the pacers did most of the damage with Umesh Yadav leading the way with a three wicket haul.

It would be interesting to see if India keeps that in mind and brings Umesh back into the side to strengthen the bowling.

Both Ravichandran Ashwin and Hardik Pandya were targetted by the Bangladesh batsmen in the semi-final and Pakistan's batsmen could look to doing the same.

Kedar Jadhav's superb showing with the ball against Bangladesh gives Captain Virat Kohli and Coach Anil Kumble the option of bringing in an extra pacer in place of Ashwin or Pandya.

Do you think India should retain the team that won the semi-final?

Or should India bring back Umesh Yadav?
