Pencil skirts

December 12, 2007

Although womenswear seems to be moving in a definite boho-chic direction, there have been a few trends in 2007 that are anything but hippie. Take, for instance, the pencil skirt.

In a fashion world where flowing, layered comfort clothing is still making its presence felt, the slim-fitting form of the pencil skirt, with its hip-hugging habit and narrow, straight cut, has carved its own niche this year.

Ideal for that smart, corporate look and best teamed with a fitted shirt and jacket, the pencil skirt is still feminine. If combined with a pair of killer stilettos and just a hint of decolletage, it is enough to have any man drooling.

Pencil heels, pencil skirts -- just so long as you're not so skinny that you resemble a pencil yourself, you'll carry off this style with elan!
