Key financial figures released for the past quarter show that it added 200,000 wireless multimedia users and 15,200 wireless Internet users in the last quarter.
In the international long-distance (ILD) business, Reliance Communications has maintained its leading market share of more than 40 per cent in the US-to-India retail customer calls segment.
The company showed a strong earnings performance in the last quarter, with a net profit of Rs 496 crore (Rs 4.96 billion) on revenues of Rs 2,820 crore (Rs 28.2 billion).
The stock which listed at the BSE in March at Rs 290 has now risen 54 per cent since listing to Rs 447. We expect the stock to show volatility, but it should continue to show strong earnings.
