KINSEY

Cast: Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Chris O'Donnell, Peter Sarsgaard

Director: Bill Condon

Written by: Bill Condon

A biopic about controversial and groundbreaking sex researcher Alfred Kinsey. Though the film has some sexual scenes, it is not meant to provoke and titillate. It is not demoting or promoting, encouraging or discouraging. It is more a study of characters; the study of a man's life.

Dr Kinsey needs to be sure of his facts to be a solid strong figure for the others helping him in his study. But, in all actuality, he is learning as he goes along and finds many problems, some personal, and has to deal with them.

The reactions of and interaction between the characters is quite intriguing and you can't help but be fascinated by them.

This film is getting some Oscar buzz, and that is well deserved indeed.
