Early exposure of middle-order is almost guaranteed considering that one of either afridi or wasti will have to open .What a class bowling attack, what a classy captain. and some classy batsmen too, but the batting is just not good enough.

Amir Husain: amir@myna.com: I think Pakistan CAN go all the way. In Wasim, they have a guy who knows English conditions better than those in Lahore. Saqlain has also been playing for Surrey so the conditions will be no surprise for him as well. In Shoaib Akhtar Pak have a bowler who doesnt need to be worried about the pitch/weathter - he will just bowl fast!! Azhar Mahmood and Moin Khan are also in good form. That only leaves the other batsman - Anwar, Afridi and Inzamam - can they deliver - if they do, say hello to the Cup!
