hello guys, this is Amit and Kim. We are back together (I guess Amit is the flavor of July for Kim). We are enjoying the hot sunny weather of Durham. Yes I am visiting Kim over the July 4th weekend. Nikhil, what's your plan for the fall? I am going to be in London in August and then I'll go to Spain. As you know, August is the vacation month for me. Bye, -- Amit ------------------ Hey guys! I am enjoying the travelogue. Can't wait to hear about the pedas in next town! (And I thought the PhD thing was a good excuse to waste other people's time and money, but you guys have clearly mastered the technique ; ) Have fun! Kim

Wow, what a way to let others experience a fantastic journey across the roads of so many of India's states. Great to read. Enthusiastic. Enchanting. I guess it will motivate a lot of young people to spend their holidays in our rich heritage-filled hills, Ghats, villages, towns and invaluable miles and miles of the area. Looking forward to many many such journeys. And again..fantastic approach to make use of the technology to spread the warmth of our country across the globe..across the universe.

While I think of countless ways to maximize my two weeks off every year, have a wonderful time you two. You do inspire me to take a sabbatical; meanwhile I'll think up clever ways to make my poor brethren working 90 hr weeks, to take revenge by spending their hard earned money on some product from my clients. In fact I'll just stay here all night thinking on Powerpoint!:-)

Hi there, I read the diary of your travels through Mandu. Your notes and the pics brought history alive in all its magnificence.I myself love to have a look round the historical places and old monuments. There's so much of the past embedded in each of the stone of the building. It's romantic and nostalgic. I too would like to someday wander out to explore and discover India in its varied hues like you people are doing. And that's a nice thing you guys are doing by sharing your travel experience with all of us -- we too get the urge to break out of the stereotyped outings. In fact,if you have time and patience then bein gon the road, going through the small towns and vilages of India is more refreshing than going off on a jet-set tour of a popular hill resort. Keep moving along safely and enjoying the trip... OP
NB: If you don't mind then tell me how you upload your stories daily and what kind of a digital cam you have. Those are nice pics, you know!
