Getting there

Dwarka can be reached by road or rail from Jamnagar, 145 kms away. Four trains pull into Dwarka from Jamnagar. It is a three hour journey by bus to Dwarka from Jamnagar and a frequent bus service connects these two towns daily. Buses come in too hourly from Veraval and Porbandar.

Jamnagar is the closest large town which also has an airport. Indian Airlines flies four times a week to Jamnagar.

  • Hotel Araam, Jamnagar, tel # 0288-551701: Heritage type hotel. Frayed kind of ambience. Moderate tariffs. Decent meals.
