Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka has opened up about the lighter side of his life.

While most sportspersons complain about spicy Indian curries, the Swiss tennis ace confessed his love for Indian food.

A regular at the Chennai Open, he said he loves Indian food and really enjoys eating it.

Wawrinka showed his admiration for India when he visited Chennai Open as defending champion in January and won it for the second time in style.

He took the confidence to the first Grand Slam of the year and won the Australian Open later that month.

The Swiss champion said he loves food, so he eats wherever he travels. He also said he takes the chance to try every food possible.

"The tournament is improving and looking forward to come back here," Wawrinka had said about the Chennai Open.

With Wawrinka’s food preferences all over, the hosts will now have to be better prepared to appeal to the World No 3’s taste buds.
