Hungary's Katinka Hosszu set a world record for the women's 200 metres individual medley at the world swimming championships on Monday.
Hosszu's time of two minutes 6.12 seconds broke the previous mark of 2:06.15 by Ariana Kukors of the United States, set at the world championships in Rome in 2009.
