Former tennis No 1 Caroline Wozniacki didn’t know that congratulating American golfer Jordan Spieth would make her troll on Twitter.

It all started with a simple tweet, “Congratulations to Jordan Spieth on winning The Masters! Extremely impressive how he came out firing from the start and never looked back!”

But it isn’t that simple because Wozniacki was the ex-girlfriend of Rory McIlroy. They were all set to marry when McIlroy called off the wedding. Many thought it was the Dane getting back at the Irish golfer by congratulating his rival.

Without mentioning McIlroy's name, Wozniacki shot down the suggestion and urged people to move on. She tweeted, “Tweeps I was congratulating Speith on his win, nothing else.. It's time for some of you to move on from the past. Thank you!”
