Tennis star Naomi Osaka almost repeated Priyanka Chopra's risky Ralph & Russo outfit.
Tennis sensation Naomi Osaka ensured the spotlight was on her as she was awarded the 2021 Laureus Sportsman of the year for her achievements on and off court.
Laureus hailed Osaka's 'powerful statement' at the US Open to support the 'Black Lives Matter' campaign as she highlighted racial injustice by wearing different face masks at her matches bearing the names of African Americans who died in recent years.
'I think it is important to use my voice,' said 23-year-old Osaka.
'Because for me I feel like I often hold back a lot and worry about what people think of me, but you know if you have a platform it is very important you use it.'
Dressed in a shimmering gown, the World No 2 flaunted her fabulous figure.
One look at the gown, and we were reminded of a similar outfit that Priyanka Chopra wore to the Grammy awards in 2020.

Naomi pulled out a stunning white sequined dress with bell sleeves, an open back, and top-to-bottom embellishments from ASOS for the big event. The patterns may be different but the structure of the gown was same.
Both stars kept the look simple with just a pair of gorgeous earrings.
