"Percept Talent is proud to have signed ace Olympic shooter Vijay Kumar as an Exclusive Talent, and will be solely responsible for strategising and managing Vijay Kumar's brand image and endorsements, media activities and media rights and a range of popular promotional activities to promote the sport of shooting in India," read a statement.
It did not mention the period of the deal or signing amount.
The 27-year-old Subedar Major, hailing from Harsaur village of Himachal Pradesh and a triple gold medallist in the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, bagged the silver medal in the 25m rapid fire pistol event at the London Games. He is currently world No 2 in the event.
Kumar's was the second medal won by India at London, and the fourth in Olympic shooting during the July-August sports extravaganza following the bronze claimed by his compatriot Gagan Narang in the 50m air rifle category.
Percept also represents London Games silver medal-winning wrestler Sushil Kumar, Beijing Games bronze medal-winning boxer Vijender Singh and many other sportsmen.
