India's Sania Mirza and her Australian partner Anastasia Rodionova came from a set down against Chinese Taipei pair of Hao-ching Chan and Yung-jan Chan to clinch the women's doubles title at the Pattaya Open on Sunday.
The top seeded Indo-Australian pair held their nerves and rallied their way to register a thrilling 3-6, 6-1, 10-8 victory in the final that lasted for an hour and six minutes.
The winning duo won 68 per cent points on their first serve but lagged behind in the second serve to their rivals, who won 58 percent compared to the former's 47 per cent.
Sania's singles campaign had ended with a 5-7, 3-6 quarter-final defeat to qualifier Su-Wei Hsieh of Chinese Taipei last week.
