India's ace cueist, Pankaj Advani continued his winning streak on the Professional Snooker Circuit, beating England's Mark King 4-3 in the fourth round of qualifiers for the European Tour-2 Paul Hunter Classic in Furth, Germany.

Following a fabulous show of snooker on Friday where Advani won all his three matches, the seven-time world champion carried on his superb form into the match against English veteran cueist.

In a closely fought match, the 26-year-old Bangalorean produced a brilliant display of snooker to emerge victorious. Quick off the blocks, world number 35 King took an early 2-0 lead, but Advani stormed back into the match, winning the next two frames with a 60 points break in the fourth frame.

With the match evenly poised, King took the fifth frame to gain a slight edge, but Advani won the sixth game to level the contest.

Thriving under pressure, the reigning national billiards champion was unstoppable in the seventh frame, opening a 44 points break. Advani pocketed the game, and the match 4-3 to book his berth in the quarter-finals.

Advani's opponent in the last-eight stage will be another Englishman Ryan Day.
