The Pussycat Doll doll singer Nicole Scherzinger has decided to quit X Factor for a year so that she could spend some quality time with her Mercedes Formula One driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
The 36-year-old American entertainer is elated at chance to cheer 29-year-old former F1 champ at many races this season, the Mirror reported.
A friend of singer-songwriter revealed that Scherzinger will be at most of the races as she wants to see Hamilton and they want to be part of one another's everyday lives.

The couple, who dated on-off for seven years, were apparently finding it difficult to spend time with each other since the Formula One racer is based in Switzerland, while his singer girlfriend is in the US. Travelling the world alone without a boyfriend to talk to was hard for Scherzinger, as she is struggling with the long-distance travel.
Another reason for her leaving the show is that she will also have time to promote her first solo album in three years as she recently signed a multimillion pound deal with Sony.
The duo started dating after meeting at the MTV Awards in 2007.

Sources added that 44-year-old Warne's alleged fling with the boss of underwear giant Ultimo, Michelle Mone, was the final straw and Hurley is upset over his actions.
According to reports, she was hopeful that they would patch things up and the sportsman's comments about being single came out of the blue.
