In a do-or-die encounter, Banga Beats' icon player Parupalli Kashyap won his singles match.
Kashyap downed giant-killer B Sai Praneeth 21-15 21-11 in the men's singles tie to give his side lead.
The World No 14 played some delectable smashes across the court, dismantling the confidence of Praneeth.
Ecstatic on the win, Kashyap said, “I played my best today. I just kept my cool throughout. Beating a senior player like me is something every player like Sai would want because I am more experienced than him.”
