Olympic bronze medallist Mary Kom had a surprise visitor on Tuesday. It was Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who turned up at her home in Imphal.

Priyanka will be playing the ace boxer in the Mary Kom biopic, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Priyanka met Mary Kom's family, including her three children, and also checked out the place where the boxing champ trains.

"Priyanka came to visit us and we had a good, detailed interaction with Mary for nearly an hour to find out more about boxing and other details," Mary Kom's husband Onler told Rediff.com.
