The Cheltenham festival takes place every March on a beautiful sporting arena at Cheltenham Racecourse in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
This year there was no shortage of colourful, glamorous and risque outfits. Hats off to the fashionable women on the Ladies Day fashion awards. It added the fun element to the festival.

The festival is one of those rare events that engages everyone. The festival features the best and the bravest horses and jockeys from Britain and Ireland. The meeting usually coincides with Saint Patrick's Day, and is particularly popular with Irish visitors.

West Indies' Darren Sammy leaps to celebrate after the West Indies won their second T20 international cricket match against England at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Later, England survived a late onslaught from the tail-end batsmen of West Indies to win a thrilling third and final Twenty20 by five runs in Barbados.
The home team had a chance to make it a 3-0 victory in the series but captain Darren Sammy was unable to hit the six his side needed off the final ball at the Kensington Oval.
